I love semi tom-boyish looks! It’s so comfy! The flannel wrap and acid wash jeans grunges up the look. But for me, I try to keep things girly by putting on over the top necklaces and sky high heels. Now, aside from the look, can we talk about how awesome that this flannel is ORGANIC???

Love this organic cotton plaid flannel wrap from Alternative Apparel! This is my first purchase with Alternative Apparel, and I am thoroughly pleased! As a business, Alternative Apparel is committed in bringing fashion through socially responsible and eco conscious ways. What that means is that Alternative Apparel chooses to follow ethical guidelines to improve the quality of life of their vendors. I love my friendly kitty friends! These knock off Charlotte Olympia flats were from my trip to Hong Kong last year. And since I have not gotten off the cat trend train, I decided to whip them out again! So what do you say? Can we keep the cat trend going just a little longer?

I love keeping things simple. I am wearing a boxy cropped top and paired it with high waisted skinnys. Here I used a monochromatic color palette: grey on grey. To keep things interesting, I played around with different textures and cuts to add contrast with the soft corduroy skinnys and sleek 3D textured jacquard top.

This look was shot in cold December, right in the hub of the holiday season. I know the season is over (boooo), but I’m still feeling the whimsy spirit of the holidays. And so, this look is my reflection of all things cheerful and sweet.

Built around a 50′s inspired silhouette, the modest quarter length sleeve top and the below-the-knee circle skirt gives the body a womanly shape. The silhouette in combination with the pale pinks, the sapphire blues create an innocently delicate feel; reminiscent of snow white. The top is speckled with small poms and subtle sequins. And my favorite piece is truly the rose patterned skirt detailed with all that tutu fluff!!!!

I want to pretend that I stumbled upon this dress in some old raggedy attic. But of course, I bought it at Free People. What I love about this lace dress is the muted rose color and the antique vibe it gives off. The dress mocks a tattered feel with the delicate lace and varying lengths on the bottom of the skirt. I added a leather jacket with my distressed black leather Jeffrey Campbell Lita that I purposely ruined in the mud. (Not really, but it worked out). Finally, finished off the look with an with a multi-chained brass colored statement necklace.
